I made these cookies yesterday. I found out that I am a whiz at making shamrocks, and the leprechaun's were so much easier than I thought they would be. I made the leprechaun and plaid cookies based on some online inspiration. I found it, pinned, and made it. I used buttercream rather than royal icing, since I think it tastes better on a sugar cookie. Although, it doesn't have that super clean look llike royal icing. But, at the end of the day they have to taste good. I am not a professional, but I think they turned out pretty great :). The links to my cookie inspiration are found here and here.
